The thesis, entitled <em>\u201cPreparation and Characterization of a Thermodynamically Stable Nano-Palladium Integrated Membrane for Hydrogen Separation,\u201d<\/em> was discussed on <strong>Thursday, November 27, 2025<\/strong>, at <strong>Dr. Khalid Shaker Hall<\/strong> in the Department of Civil Engineering, under the supervision of <strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Moayed Khalil Ibrahim<\/strong> and <strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Wissam Jalil Khudair<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The thesis aimed to prepare composite palladium membranes for the separation and purification of hydrogen gas using more than one deposition method, as well as to study the physical and chemical properties of the fabricated membranes using established laboratory and practical techniques.<\/p>\n<p>The study presented several recommendations, most notably the possibility of hybridizing the electroless plating technique with an electric current to accelerate the membrane deposition process, developing smart control systems to ensure optimal performance under varying operating conditions, and conducting a comprehensive <strong>Life Cycle Assessment (LCA)<\/strong> of the fabricated membranes to evaluate the environmental and economic impacts of the technology.<\/p>\n<p>Following the scientific discussion by the members of the examination committee and after listening to the researcher\u2019s defense of his thesis, the candidate was awarded the <strong>Master\u2019s degree in Energy Engineering<\/strong>.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=&#8221;3&#8243; images=&#8221;9846&#8243; img_size=&#8221;large&#8221; css=&#8221;&#8221;][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;] In line with the principles of sustainable development and responsible consumption and production, the College of Engineering at &#8230; <a class=\"cz_readmore\" href=\"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9843\"><i class=\"fa fa-angle-left\" aria-hidden=\"true\"><\/i><span>\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0632\u064a\u062f<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":165,"featured_media":9845,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_lmt_disableupdate":"","_lmt_disable":"","footnotes":""},"categories":[37,31],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-9843","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-energy-engineering","category-thesis"],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v25.8 -
