{"id":9798,"date":"2025-12-17T09:12:17","date_gmt":"2025-12-17T06:12:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9798"},"modified":"2025-12-17T09:12:17","modified_gmt":"2025-12-17T06:12:17","slug":"professor-dr-abdullah-dhaya-receives-the-medal-of-excellence-and-creativity-at-the-fifth-international-conference-of-wasit-university","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=9798","title":{"rendered":"Professor Dr. Abdullah Dhaya Receives the Medal of Excellence and Creativity at the Fifth International Conference of Wasit University"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>In line with the principles of <strong>sustainable development<\/strong> and <strong>responsible consumption and production<\/strong>, <strong>Professor Dr. Abdullah Dhaya<\/strong>, a faculty member in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, participated in the <strong>Fifth International Conference on Patents and Entrepreneurship<\/strong>, organized by <strong>Wasit University<\/strong> on <strong>Tuesday, December 9, 2025<\/strong>, with the participation of a distinguished group of researchers and academics from various Iraqi universities.<\/p>\n<p>During the conference, Prof. Dr. Abdullah Dhaya presented a distinguished scientific paper entitled <em>\u201cA New Main Matrix to Find the Principal Stresses, Strains and the Maximum Shear Stress and Strain Using MATLAB Simulation.\u201d<\/em> The paper introduced an innovative main matrix for efficiently calculating principal stresses and strains as well as maximum shear stress, using MATLAB simulation.
