The event was presented by Prof. Dr. Farqad Ali Lateef under the title: <em>\u201cThe French Mission and Its Role in Developing Energy Applications in Civil Engineering.\u201d<\/em> The session was attended by the Head of the Department, Prof. Dr. Amjad Hamad Khalil, along with several faculty members and postgraduate students.<\/p>\n<p>During the presentation, Dr. Farqad reviewed the latest research trends and practical applications related to the integration of sustainable energy with civil engineering. He discussed artificial intelligence\u2013based analytical techniques for electrochemical analysis systems, the design of alkaline water electrolysis systems, as well as joint research projects with French universities in the fields of batteries, electrocatalysis, and smart energy systems.<\/p>\n<p>The presentation also addressed several international research projects carried out within the framework of academic cooperation with French universities, including the <strong>C3POe Project<\/strong>, which focuses on integrating renewable energy with water desalination in smart cities, and the <strong>ABR Project<\/strong> for the reuse of electric vehicle batteries.
