Prof. Dr. Mohammed Zuhear Abdul-Ameer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The examination committee consisted of the following members:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Zeina Khudair Abbas<\/strong>, University of Baghdad \u2013 College of Engineering, <em>Chairperson<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Prof. Dr. Ma\u2019an Salman Hassan<\/strong>, University of Technology \u2013 Department of Civil Engineering, <em>Member<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Hadeel Khalid Awad<\/strong>, University of Baghdad \u2013 College of Engineering, <em>Member<\/em>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Zuhear Abdul-Ameer<\/strong>, University of Baghdad \u2013 College of Engineering, <em>Member and Supervisor<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The research focused on improving foam concrete mixtures for block production using conventional block-making techniques, with an innovative modification involving the application of <strong>hydraulic pressing<\/strong> to enhance productivity and dimensional stability. The study aimed to determine the optimum dosage of the <strong>NH-1 set accelerator<\/strong> that enables early demolding and improved mechanical performance while maintaining adequate workability and cohesion of the foam concrete.<\/p>\n<p>The results showed that increasing the NH-1 dosage significantly accelerated the setting process, allowing pressing and demolding at earlier times without compromising the block\u2019s integrity. The optimum accelerator dosage varied with density, being <strong>3%<\/strong> for 700 kg\/m\u00b3, <strong>2%<\/strong> for 1000 kg\/m\u00b3, and <strong>1%<\/strong> for 1300 kg\/m\u00b3.
