His thesis, titled &#8220;Evaluation of the Performance of a Monocrystalline Photovoltaic Module under Different Climatic Conditions Based on Energy Analysis,&#8221; was held on Monday, 22\/9\/ 2025, in the Petroleum Engineering Hall, under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Ali.<br \/>\nThe thesis aims to evaluate the operational performance of a monocrystalline solar panel under real climatic conditions in the city of Baghdad, based on an integrated application of both energy analysis (rooted in the first law of thermodynamics) and exergy analysis (rooted in the second law). The research seeks to determine the varying effects of solar irradiance and cell temperature on photovoltaic conversion efficiency, accurately calculate internal and external loss levels, and then diagnose the sources of exergy destruction. It also aims to establish directions for future improvements that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of photovoltaic panel performance. The thesis also included The thesis concluded with a set of recommendations, including:<br \/>\n1. Studying the impact of other environmental factors such as humidity and dust on energy and exergy analysis.<br \/>\n2. Including other types of solar panels in the work, such as second-, third-, and fourth-generation technologies.<br \/>\n3.
