A joint delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Environment, and the University of Baghdad visited the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad on Thursday, September 25, 2025, to review the solar panel systems used for electricity generation and to audit the data related to the University of Baghdad Sustainable Energy Competition and student participation in it.<\/p>\n

The committee was received by Prof. Dr. Faleh Hassan, Associate Dean for Administrative Affairs, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Karim Hassan Ali, Head of the Mechanical Engineering Department.<\/p>\n

The committee reviewed the solar energy generation systems used to power lighting and electrical devices in the college, with emphasis on the importance of relying on clean and sustainable energy in the future, given its lower economic cost compared to conventional energy sources, in addition to its significant role in supporting the university, its colleges, research centers, and various facilities.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”8870,8871,8872,8873,8874″ img_size=”large” css=””][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
