Lecturer Mahmood Sawadi, a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering \u2013 College of Engineering \u2013 University of Baghdad, has published a research paper titled:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Lifetime-Based Discontinuous PWM for Cascaded H-Bridge Converters<\/strong>&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The paper was published in collaboration with an international research team in IEEE Access, one of the prestigious journals ranked in the first quartile (Q1) in the Scopus index, with an Impact Factor of 3.9 and a Cite Score of 9.8 according to the latest 2024 rankings.<\/p>\n<p>The study introduces a new algorithm based on Lifetime-Based Discontinuous Pulse Width Modulation (DPWM) aimed at enhancing the performance of Cascaded H-Bridge (CHB) converters.
