The dissertation, titled <strong data-start=\"389\" data-end=\"468\">&#8220;The Impact of Digital-Computational Thought on the Architectural Product,&#8221;<\/strong> was supervised by <strong data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"529\">Asst. Prof. Dr. Amjad Mahmood Al-Badri<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"532\" data-end=\"1161\">The dissertation aimed to explore the influence of digital-computational thought on architectural production, focusing on the paradigm shift from traditional to computational design. The research sought to establish a clear theoretical framework to understand the historical, philosophical, and conceptual foundations of this transformation. It further analyzed the role of digital-computational principles in shaping contemporary architecture, highlighting key concepts, components, vocabulary, and mechanisms of digital architectural thought, and identified prominent trends and the architectural ideologies that underpin them.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1163\" data-end=\"1200\">Key objectives of the study included:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1649\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1274\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1204\" data-end=\"1274\">Evaluating contemporary architecture from a computational perspective.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1275\" data-end=\"1409\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1277\" data-end=\"1409\">Developing a clear conceptual framework, methodologies, and epistemology to support innovative strategies in architectural practice.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1410\" data-end=\"1649\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1412\" data-end=\"1649\">Offering a roadmap for future research aimed at producing a mature, coherent theory for digital-computational design that integrates people, environments, rules, and objects to address issues of performance, productivity, and efficiency.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"1651\" data-end=\"1675\">Key Recommendations:<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"2602\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1676\" data-end=\"1851\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1678\" data-end=\"1851\">Emphasize the integration of computational and algorithmic thinking across architectural education, including design, computing, and theoretical courses such as mathematics.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1852\" data-end=\"1966\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1854\" data-end=\"1966\">Develop educational tools grounded in problem-solving methodologies to enhance architectural design instruction.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"1967\" data-end=\"2103\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"1969\" data-end=\"2103\">Keep pace with advancements in digital-computational fields by embedding such specialization into postgraduate architectural programs.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2104\" data-end=\"2251\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2106\" data-end=\"2251\">Embed digital-computational design principles in academic curricula and promote further research into its philosophical and practical dimensions.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2252\" data-end=\"2390\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2254\" data-end=\"2390\">Adopt digital tools to foster creativity and enhance efficiency, while balancing technological innovation with architectural expression.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2391\" data-end=\"2499\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2393\" data-end=\"2499\">Investigate the implications of artificial intelligence and emerging technologies in digital architecture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2500\" data-end=\"2602\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2502\" data-end=\"2602\">Explore the role of digital-computational design in promoting sustainability and smart architecture.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3 class=\"\" data-start=\"2604\" data-end=\"2634\">Defense Committee Members:<\/h3>\n<ul data-start=\"2635\" data-end=\"3239\">\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2635\" data-end=\"2726\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2637\" data-end=\"2726\"><strong data-start=\"2637\" data-end=\"2669\">Prof. Dr. Ghada Mousa Razuqi<\/strong> \u2013 University of Baghdad, Dept. of Architecture (Chair)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2727\" data-end=\"2827\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2729\" data-end=\"2827\"><strong data-start=\"2729\" data-end=\"2766\">Prof. Dr. Abdullah Saadoun Salman<\/strong> \u2013 University of Technology, Dept. of Architecture (Member)<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li class=\"\" data-start=\"2828\" data-end=\"2936\">\n<p class=\"\" data-start=\"2830\" data-end=\"2936\"><strong data-start=\"2830\" data-end=\"2878\">Asst.
