Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, the final match of the College of Engineering Football Championship was held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, in a vibrant sports atmosphere and in the presence of a large audience. The final match brought together the Mechanical Engineering Department team and the Civil Engineering Department team, in a highly competitive game showcasing outstanding performances from both sides. The event was attended by the esteemed Dean, who praised the excellent organization of this outstanding sports festival, extending his thanks and appreciation to the organizing committee and congratulating the winning teams. Also attending were the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Faleh Hassan, the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Dr. Wameedh Nazar, along with several directors of departments and units at the college, in addition to the Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Amjad Al-Bayati. The Mechanical Engineering Department team was crowned champion for the second consecutive year after securing a well-deserved victory in a match characterized by high sportsmanship and excellent performance.<\/p>\n
