[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As part of its ongoing scientific activities, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a scientific visit to Baghdad International Airport, specifically to the Periodic Maintenance Unit of Iraqi Airways in 23th<\/sup> April 2025, with the participation of several second students accompanied by a group of faculty members.<\/p>\n

The visit aimed to provide insight into the electrical and electronic systems used in aircraft maintenance, as well as the inspection and periodic servicing processes conducted in accordance with international safety standards. Engineers and technicians at the unit delivered comprehensive explanations about the nature of the work and the modern technologies in use, highlighting the critical role of electrical engineers in this vital sector, giving students a valuable opportunity to connect academic knowledge with practical applications.<\/p>\n
