Lecturer Mahmoud Sawadi, a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering, in collaboration with an international research team, has published a scientific paper titled:<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Adaptive resilient control and detection mechanisms for secure nanogrid operations facing FDI attacks&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The paper was published in the Electric Power Systems Research journal, which is ranked Q1 in Scopus and Q2 in Clarivate, and is issued by the renowned publishing house Elsevier. The journal has an impact factor of 3.3 and a citation\u00a0score\u00a0of\u00a07.5.<\/p>\n<p>The study addresses the protection of a DC hybrid nanogrid (DCHNG) comprising parallel-connected power converters and energy storage units supplying constant power loads (CPLs). It focuses on the impact of False Data Injection (FDI) attacks, which may disrupt power flow and voltage stability.
