Within the framework of cooperation among Iraqi universities, Prof. Tareq Zeyad Ismael, a faculty member in the Department of Electrical Engineering- College of Engineering- University of Baghdad chaired the examining committee for the Ph.D. dissertation \u00a0entitled ” Development of Advanced Application-Level Encryption for High Security and Efficient Database Management” of Hayder Touran Mahdi in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Electrical Engineering Department- the University of Technology on Thursday 9th<\/sup> March, 2023.<\/p>\n

In this thesis a new algorithm based on a new dynamical chaotic generator is introduced. It uses the chaotic generator to generate a dynamic S-Box that changes according to the input parameters, increasing the strength and efficiency of the encoder to stand up to attempts to retrieve the encrypted information. The performance of the algorithm was also evaluated using modern and internationally approved standards. The algorithm has proven its efficiency in encoding information and various images.<\/p>\n
