The event witnessed the participation of an elite group of Quran reciters and memorizers from various university faculties, who demonstrated exceptional skills in recitation and memorization, reflecting their deep connection to the Holy Quran.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">The competition was highly competitive, with participants evaluated by a specialized committee of Quranic studies professors to ensure the selection of the best candidates to represent the university in the upcoming national qualifiers. In this context, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">Mohammed Saad Shaaban<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, a student at the College of Engineering, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">Department of Petroleum Engineering<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, excelled by securing <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">third place<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\"> at the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">University of Baghdad<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\"> level, showcasing his dedication and perseverance in Quran memorization and recitation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">The event concluded with an <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">honorary ceremony<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\"> for the winners, who were awarded certificates of appreciation and valuable prizes in recognition of their excellence in reciting the verses of the Holy Quran. The ceremony was filled with pride and joy, as the attendees expressed their happiness over this remarkable achievement.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">The closing ceremony was graced by the presence of <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">Professor Dr. Asaad Ghani Jihad<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, the representative of the <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, who praised the efforts of the students and the organizing committees, emphasizing the importance of such activities in promoting religious and cultural values within the university. Also in attendance were <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">Professor Dr. Baha Ibrahim Ensaf<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">President of the University of Baghdad<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">, members of the university council, a large gathering of academics, students, and the families of the participants, adding a special significance to the event.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\" style=\"text-align: justify; text-justify: inter-ideograph;\"><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">These Quranic competitions are among the significant activities that contribute to strengthening the memorization and recitation of the Quran among young people, encouraging <\/span><\/span><span class=\"s3\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\">healthy competition<\/span><\/span><span class=\"s2\"><span style=\"font-size: 17.0pt;\"> and adherence to religious values.
