This study investigates the impact of wind loads on crack growth in aluminum alloy wings, focusing on the effect of the angle of attack (AOA). Two conditions were analyzed: flight (AOA = 5\u00b0) and landing\/takeoff (AOA = 10\u00b0). The research compares AL2024-T3 and AL7075-T6 to determine the alloy with better crack resistance and durability. Experimental work involved tensile tests, optical emission spectrometry (OES), hardness tests, and multiaxial cyclic loading to evaluate mechanical properties. Test specimens were fabricated using wire electrical discharge machining (WEDM). A newly developed apparatus was used to study dynamic crack propagation under cyclic in-plane shear and constant tensile loading. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n
