[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Meytham Mutashar Sharqi, Head of the Surveying Engineering Department, the department organized a scientific field trip to Baghdad International Airport on Thursday, February 20, 2025, for first-year students. The trip was attended by several faculty members, including Asst. Prof. Zahraa Ezzedine, Dr. Israa Abdul Ali Kadhim, and Senior Chief Programmer Wsan Mahmoud Mohammed.<\/p>\n

The purpose of this educational visit was to familiarize students with the operations and activities within the airport, as well as the technologies and equipment used in its construction, particularly surveying instruments, which played a crucial role in its development. This experience provided valuable insights relevant to their studies.<\/p>\n

We would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to the airport administration for their warm welcome, excellent organization, and fruitful cooperation, which allowed students to document information and gain practical knowledge that will enhance their academic experience.
