[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As part of the scientific activities of the Chemical Engineering Department and under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Assoc. Prof. Rasha Habib Salman, and organized by the Program Accreditation Committee in the department, a lecture was held in the department’s hall, named after Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Omar, regarding the procedures for implementing the educational portfolio within the standards for engineering education accreditation in Iraq. This event took place on Monday, February 10, 2025.<\/p>\n

The lecture was presented by Assoc. Prof. Iman Qassem, the Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Engineering. It aimed to provide clarification to the faculty members on how to complete the educational portfolio, survey forms, exam analysis, and effective evaluation methods to accurately determine the achievement percentage for each subject in the curriculum. Additionally, it explained the components of the course portfolio, contributing to achieving the required academic and administrative goals for obtaining engineering accreditation, enhancing the status of the department and college, and achieving high performance levels in the local and global academic arena.<\/p>\n
