She presented her thesis titled <em>&#8220;Simulation of a 100 MW Solar Photovoltaic Power Station Optimized by Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) Algorithm.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The thesis was supervised by Prof. Dr. Imad Talib Hashem.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Objective:<\/strong> The research aims to design a complete model for a photovoltaic system consisting of solar panels, a boost converter, and an inverter to maximize power and implement the Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm using MATLAB\/SIMULINK. The performance of the system is then evaluated across a range of temperature and solar radiation conditions, analyzing four different climate scenarios based on the solar radiation and temperature applicable to Iraq&#8217;s climate.<\/p>\n<p>Following the extensive study, the researcher presented a set of recommendations, including the creation of a small-scale power station, calculating the actual power output, and working on an economic line to estimate the installation costs of a large-scale power station.<\/p>\n<p>After the public discussion and the committee\u2019s review of the research and the student\u2019s defense, the candidate was awarded a Master&#8217;s degree in Energy Engineering with <em>Honors<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thesis Defense Committee Members:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Chair: Prof. Dr. Munir Hamid Saadi<\/li>\n<li>Member: Assoc.
