The dissertation, titled <strong>&#8220;The Impact of Parametric Modeling for Environmental Urban Morphology on Contemporary Architecture: A Case Study of the Historic Center of Najaf,&#8221;<\/strong> was held in <strong>Mohammad Makkiyah Hall<\/strong>, under the supervision of <strong>Assist. Prof. Dr. Ghada Mohammed Ismail<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<h3>Objective of the Thesis:<\/h3>\n<p>The thesis aimed to study and analyze the <strong>environmental adaptation strategies<\/strong> within the traditional urban fabric, focusing on the influence of <strong>parametric modeling<\/strong> on contemporary architectural design through a parametric model.<\/p>\n<h3>Key Findings:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>The research demonstrated that it is possible to translate traditional design principles, such as <strong>natural ventilation<\/strong> and <strong>heat gain reduction<\/strong>, into <strong>practical architectural solutions<\/strong> in modern contexts.<\/li>\n<li>It was concluded that drawing inspiration from the adaptive strategies of the traditional urban fabric, and incorporating <strong>parametric modeling<\/strong>, offers great flexibility in exploring different design options.
