{"id":6898,"date":"2024-12-29T10:41:41","date_gmt":"2024-12-29T07:41:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6898"},"modified":"2024-12-29T10:41:41","modified_gmt":"2024-12-29T07:41:41","slug":"the-department-of-water-resources-engineering-visits-the-iraqi-house-of-creativity-foundation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=6898","title":{"rendered":"The Department of Water Resources Engineering visits the Iraqi House of Creativity Foundation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p>Believing in the principle of solidarity, fostering a spirit of cooperation, and teaching students the values of kindness and gratitude towards the elderly, who have played a significant role in nurturing and caring for the generation, and under the slogan &#8220;Life is better with their approval,&#8221; the Department of Water Resources Engineering organized a charitable bazaar, the proceeds of which will go to the Elderly House affiliated with the Iraqi House of Creativity Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>On Wednesday, 18\/12\/2024, the organizing committee of the charitable bazaar met with Mr. Hisham Al-Thahabi, the head of the foundation, at the Iraqi House of Creativity. Mr. Al-Dhabi welcomed the committee, which consisted of Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran Muhsin, Assistant Lecturer Alaa Abdul Hadi Abbas, Senior Engineer Taghreed Hussein Abbas, and student representatives from each academic stage: Taiba Ali from the fourth stage, Ali Thamer from the third stage, and Rania Mohammed from the second stage.<\/p>\n<p>Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran Muhsin, head of the committee, conveyed the greetings of Professor Dr. Basim Shaba Abed, head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, along with the teaching, engineering staff, and students, expressing their happiness in donating the bazaar&#8217;s proceeds to the Elderly House of the Iraqi House of Creativity Foundation.<\/p>\n<p>In turn, the head of the foundation appreciated the initiative by the professors, staff, and students of the Department of Water Resources Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, for their contribution in supporting the Elderly House.
