[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Dr. Samara Munim Naeem, a faculty member in Applied Mechanics from the Department of Aeronautical Engineering at the University of Baghdad, College of Engineering, has been selected to be part of the scientific committee for the Second International Conference on Applied Sciences and Advanced Technology. The conference was organized by the Scientific Events Gateway in Malaysia in collaboration with several international scientific and educational institutions. Dr. Samara contributed to the conference by presenting an online workshop on the sidelines of the event titled “Interactive Curricula and Their Role in Education,” held on November 25, 2024. The workshop focused on interactive curricula as a modern approach aimed at enhancing the quality of higher education by fostering interaction among students, faculty members, and among students themselves, leading to deeper and more sustainable learning. The workshop emphasized that interactive curricula play a pivotal role in improving the quality of higher education, provided that appropriate training is offered to the academic staff.
