The Department of Surveying Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, organized a scientific trip for third-year students, consisting of 25 students, supervised by Lect. Dr. Hassanein Abdul Razzaq Saleh and Assist. Lect. Layla Qais Abbas, in collaboration with the Scientific Care Department \/ Ministry of Youth and Sports and the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ). The trip took place on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, to attend the Career Fair, which is the largest gathering of companies and institutions in the private sector. The event aims to provide job opportunities and outstanding training for Iraqi youth.<\/p>\n

This trip provided students with the opportunity to connect directly with recruitment officers from over 60 leading companies and learn about thousands of job vacancies in various fields. The fair also offered intensive, free training programs covering a wide range of skills needed in the labor market, in addition to opportunities to meet entrepreneurs and business owners and benefit from their expertise.<\/p>\n

The students expressed that such scientific trips are very important to them, and they were eager to make the most of the experience.
