The examination committee consisted of the following professors:<\/p>\n<p>1. Prof. Dr. Ayad A. Alhaleem A. Alraazzaq (Chair)<br \/>\n2. Asst. Prof. Dr. Dahlia A. Al-Obaidi (Member)<br \/>\n3. Dr. Hussain Ali Baker (Member)<br \/>\n4. Asst. Prof. Dr. Omar Falih Hasan (Member and Supervisor)<\/p>\n<p>Objective of the Study<br \/>\nThe study focused on determining the petrophysical properties of Mishrif formation, which is one of the most promising carbonate reservoirs and very heterogeneity in the Ratawi oil field, by logs interpretation of ten wells in the Ratawi field; characterize the reservoir to understand the distribution of fluids and formation properties; and also calculate the initial oil in place (OIIP) by building a three-dimensional geological model.<\/p>\n<p>Conclusion<br \/>\nMishrif formation had been characterized using different methods, which were: Flow Zone Indicator (FZI)characterized four hydraulic flow units; Winland (R35) identified three pore throat types; Lucia classification described three groups of rock fabric number (RFN); and Cluster analysis determined five electrofacies.
