Prof. Dr. Qusay J. Abdul Ghafour (Member)<\/p>\n<p>4- Asst. Prof. Dr. Hassan Togun Abdullah (Member)<\/p>\n<p>5- Asst. Prof. Dr. Zeina Ali Abdul Redha (Member)<\/p>\n<p>6- Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed A. Nima (Supervisor)<\/p>\n<p>The study aims to improve the thermal efficiency and energy output of parabolic trough collectors (PTCs) through the use of copper metal foam inserts (MFI). The study used both numerical and experimental methods to study the effects of different metal foam filling ratios (FR) under Iraqi weather conditions. The study compared uniform and stretched MFI along the receiver pipe, including also foamless and fully filled scenarios.
