The Department of Computer Engineering at the University of Baghdad, under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Engineering, held a workshop entitled:<\/p>\n

\u201cFlowchart Design with Microsoft VISIO Program\u201d<\/p>\n

It was delivered by Assistant Professor \u201cRiyadh Bassil Abduljabbar\u201d on November 21, 2024, at exactly eleven thirty in the morning, in the discussion room in the department, in the presence of the Head of the Department, (Assist. Prof. Firas Ali Saber), in addition to a number of faculty members department. The workshop included a discussion of Microsoft VISIO, as it is a collaboration platform developed by Microsoft Company. The symposium included a discussion on Microsoft Visio, a diagramming program developed by Microsoft, designed to facilitate and accelerate the creation of flowcharts and organizational charts. Microsoft Visio features an easy-to-use interface, in addition to its integration with Microsoft Office programs. It also includes a comprehensive set of shapes and templates that greatly assist in the creation of diagrams. The goal of the workshop was to highlight the importance of this program and how to use and benefit from it in the present, particularly in government departments and educational institutions. The symposium concluded with several recommendations, the most notable being:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Providing a license for Microsoft Visio integrated with the previously provided Microsoft account, which includes licenses for Microsoft Office.<\/li>\n
  2. Implementing the program in educational projects by encouraging the use of Visio in designing educational and training diagrams for students, in order to develop their skills in creating flowcharts and organizational diagrams.<\/li>\n
  3. Adopting Microsoft Visio as the official tool for designing organizational and flowcharts, due to the flexibility and ease of use it offers.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
