This dissertation aims to design and manufacture an externally powered prostheses that closely replicates human hand movement, enhancing amputee comfort and mobility. The work involves four main stages: the design using SolidWorks, structural analysis with ANSYS Workbench, manufacturing via CNC and 3D printer, and the design of Arduino-controlled electronic system to regulate the movements of hand prosthesis. The mechanical components of the prosthetic hand comprise the phalanx, links, linear actuator, servomotor, bolts and palm. The phalanx are designed and manufactured from aluminum, while links are manufactured from stainless steel 304.<\/p>\n
