Under the patronage of the esteemed Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. Karim Hassan Ali, the Department of Mechanical Engineering held its first general assembly meeting for the academic year 2024\/2025 on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in the hall of Professor Dr. Ihsan Yahya Hussein. The meeting included a speech from the respected head of the department, who welcomed the faculty members to the new academic year and addressed several important matters that serve the department, including the importance of maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, recording student attendance, and faculty assignments. He also thanked them for completing the academic description requirements for the Bologna Process courses. Following that, he instructed the Quality Assurance Coordinator, Assistant Professor Dr. Iman Qasim, to explain the performance evaluation form for this year and its importance in our department according to the directives of the deanship. The meeting also featured the presence of Professor Dr. Akram Wahbi, who delivered a lecture highlighting the importance of partnerships with global universities, including Australian universities, which he aims to establish for the benefit of the university, college, and department in the long term across all aspects. At the end of the meeting, the head of the department thanked the esteemed faculty members for their attendance and wished them a successful and prosperous year.<\/p>\n
