The workshop titled “Lessons Learned from Employing BIM in the Finnish Construction Industry Locally” was held on Sunday, May 5, 2024, at the Architecture Department in Baghdad University. During the workshop, the focus was on the vital role of digital innovation in the development of national sectors and institutions, particularly the construction and reconstruction sector. The lessons learned and Finnish experiences in adopting and developing Building Information Modeling (BIM) at the national level were reviewed, which have significantly impacted the construction and urban development sector over the past forty years. The workshop also addressed how Finnish construction organizations contributed to supporting the national BIM model, despite the challenges they faced in fully achieving all its objectives.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
