[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We are thrilled to share that in this year’s esteemed QS World University Rankings by Subject, the University of Baghdad has achieved remarkable success across 6 disciplines, securing the top position in our country in each one.<\/p>\n

Notably, in Engineering and Technology, we have advanced to the 344th position globally, a significant improvement from our previous ranking of 451-500. Furthermore, our university has proudly debuted in the global rankings for Medicine, securing the 551-600 position.<\/p>\n

The University of Baghdad excels in certain fields with top rankings in the following disciplines::

Our consistent progress in Engineering and Technology, as well as Medicine, over the past three years reflects our commitment to academic excellence. Notably, Petroleum Engineering stands out for its impressive citation indicators (Citations and H-index) at our university, while Engineering and Technology have achieved the highest academic and employer reputation scores.<\/p>\n

This year’s rankings encompass 55 disciplines within 5 main fields of science, with 1559 universities worldwide making it to the list out of 4,989 considered institutions.<\/p>\n
