Within the cooperation between the departments of the Faculty of Engineering and the rest of the university formations, Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran Muhsin and Senior Chief Engineer Taghreed Hussein Abbas participated in the workshop entitled “Rationalization of Water Consumption: Challenges and Solutions.” This event was organized by the Department of Chemistry in collaboration with the unit of continuing education, psychological counseling, and educational guidance at the Faculty of Science, University of Baghdad. The workshop focused on two main themes: water sources in Iraq and their management, as well as the concept of rationalizing consumption, methods of achieving this, and examples of enhancing water resources. The primary goal was to promote awareness regarding the importance of using water wisely to ensure its sustainability. Attendees included Assistant Professor Dr. Nada Mutair Abbas, chair of the chemistry department, along with several teachers, staff members, and students from the department. In recognition of their valuable contributions, certificates of thanks and appreciation were presented to Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Omran and Senior Chief Engineer Taghreed Hussein by the department chair.<\/p>\n
