Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdel Majeed, and the supervision of the Head of the Environmental Engineering Department, Professor Dr. Ayad Abdulhamza Faisal, the Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit, in cooperation with the Environmental Engineering Department and the Continuing Education Unit in the College of Engineering held a workshop on Monday, 29\\1\\2024 by Assist. Lecturer Teba Hussein Mizal titled:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cDrugs, their types, methods of abuse, and how to prevent them\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n

The workshop dealt with drugs, what are the most prominent methods of drug abuse, how to prevent them, and what is the role of society and the university institution in raising awareness and staying away from addiction and abuse. Therefore, we have a historical, moral and professional responsibility that necessitates coordination of efforts and cooperation between all concerned parties, including security, legal, pedagogical and educational, in order to protect our Iraqi society from the danger of this scourge, and it remains Religious and moral motives and social cohesion are the main buffer and barrier against the toxins of psychotropic substances and drugs<\/strong>.<\/strong>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”4527,4529″ img_size=”large”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
