A delegation from the University of Baghdad, headed by Professor Dr. Munir Hamid Al-Saadi, President of the University of Baghdad, visited the French University of Lille, during the visit of the delegation from the University of Baghdad to France, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdel Majeed, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Raed Faleh Hassan, Dean of the College of Science, and Professor Dr. Enas Khalifa Al-Sharqi. Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the university.<\/p>\n

During the visit, the achievements of the University of Baghdad were highlighted and an overview of its strategic plans was presented, with an emphasis on its position within the prestigious international rankings. The importance of building sustainable partnerships was also emphasized, especially with regard to graduate and undergraduate students. Emphasis was placed on activating the visiting professor program and increasing The number of research grants for Iraqi students, participation in Scientific discussion committees for Iraqi students electronically, and virtual training courses. Advanced educational and research laboratories at the University of Lille and the Lille Central School of Engineering Studies were also visited.<\/p>\n

The idea of \u200b\u200bcreating an electronic platform presented by professors of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad was discussed, to enhance interaction and facilitate scientific exchange processes between students and researchers at the two universities, and it was reviewed with the members of the delegation and the French universities concerned. It was also proposed to sign agreement of understanding that would consolidate joint international cooperation and define the framework of work for the future .<\/p>\n
