In a step aimed at drawing a roadmap for the entry of scientific journals issued by the University of Baghdad in the Clarivate database, an expanded meeting was held on Tuesday, 18\/7\/2023 under the chairmanship of the respected President of the University of Baghdad to discuss the mechanisms and means required to be provided and that prepare these journals to enter the container. In the interest of the Deanship of the College of Engineering to develop the journals it issues, provide them with material and moral support and momentum, and seek to restructure them to meet the conditions for joining such international containers, the meeting was attended by the respected Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof.Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed, accompanied by the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, the Editor-in-Chief of the Iraqi Journal of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, Prof.Dr. Ahmed Faiq Al-Alawy, and managing editor, Assist.Prof. Dr. Hayder Abdulkareem Rashid. Where the interventions of the respected Dean had an impact on enriching this meeting and clarifying the view of the Deanship of the College for such a scientific trend. The step of entering the Clarivate database comes to complement the process started by the Iraqi Journal of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering in order to enter the Scopus database with a well-thought-out plan and compatible with the conditions required to join.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_gallery interval=”3″ images=”2502,2504″ img_size=”large”][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
