\u00a0<\/strong>Assist. Prof. Dr. Hayder Muhammad Abdulhamid (member of the Artificial Rainfall Committee \\ Council of Advisors \\ Prime Minister) participated in a workshop held by the Emirates National Meteorological Center for the period from 7-10 \\ 5 \\ 2023 in the United Arab Emirates. And related to the study of mechanisms and the possibility of establishing a center or starting a program for artificial raining in Iraq, the UAE side confirmed the success of the program in the country in facing the effects of climate changes as well as reducing temperatures for the past two years. Many technical and environmental matters were discussed by the Iraqi delegation and finding the necessary solutions and alternatives Its application in Iraq, taking into account the urgent need to maximize water resources in Iraq, especially after successive seasons of droughts and scarcity of water sources from the upstream countries. The UAE side has affirmed its readiness to cooperate in this field and enhance expertise with the Iraqi side in order to implement the program or similar programs in Iraq to stave off water scarcity and increase water resources in non-traditional ways.<\/strong><\/p>\n
