{"id":12671,"date":"2026-10-26T12:19:25","date_gmt":"2026-10-26T09:19:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12671"},"modified":"2026-10-26T12:19:25","modified_gmt":"2026-10-26T09:19:25","slug":"university-of-baghdads-college-of-engineering-discusses-the-role-of-e-governance-in-combating-corruption-and-promoting-integrity","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12671","title":{"rendered":"University of Baghdad\u2019s College of Engineering Discusses the Role of E-Governance in Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<p>The Human Rights Unit at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, in collaboration with the Department of Surveying Engineering, organised an interactive workshop on Sunday, 25 October 2026, entitled <strong>\u201cThe Role of Digital Transformation and E-Governance in Combating Corruption and Promoting Integrity.\u201d<\/strong> The workshop was delivered by Dr. Israa Abd Ali Kazim, Head of the Human Rights Unit, and Dr. Mohammed Khalil, a member of the unit, with the participation of a number of students and university staff.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to highlight the role of e-governance in reducing administrative and financial corruption, promoting integrity, and protecting human rights within educational institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The discussions focused on the use of digital technologies to simplify administrative and academic procedures and reduce bureaucracy.
