{"id":12597,"date":"2026-10-25T11:44:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-25T08:44:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12597"},"modified":"2026-10-25T11:44:48","modified_gmt":"2026-10-25T08:44:48","slug":"chemical-engineering-department-at-the-university-of-baghdad-holds-a-workshop-on-the-third-criterion-of-engineering-accreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=12597","title":{"rendered":"Chemical Engineering Department at the University of Baghdad Holds a Workshop on the Third Criterion of Engineering Accreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<h1><\/h1>\n<p>Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed, and under the supervision of the Head of the Chemical Engineering Department, Prof. Dr. Rasha Habeeb Salman, the department, in collaboration with the College\u2019s Quality Assurance Division, held a workshop entitled <strong>\u201cThe Third Criterion of Engineering Accreditation in the Chemical Engineering Department\u201d<\/strong> on Monday, October 19, 2026, at the Mahdi Hantoush Hall.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop was attended by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed, and the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Dr. Ziad Tariq Abdul Ali, alongside several faculty members and staff. The workshop was delivered by Prof. Dr. Ibtihal Kareem Shaker and Assist. Lecturer Adhraa Wali Aziz.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to clarify the requirements of the third criterion of engineering accreditation. It addressed the contents of course portfolios, methods for preparing examinations and aligning them with learning outcomes, and the importance of standardizing educational objectives and assessment methods.
