Prof. Dr. Zeina Ali Abdul Ridha. The celebration featured an interactive festival involving students from all academic levels and was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed; the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Wamid Nizar Fleih; the Director of the University of Baghdad\u2019s Engineering Consultancy Office, Prof. Dr. Abbas Burhan Mohammed; as well as several faculty members and staff from the college and academics from the College of Artificial Intelligence.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration featured a variety of activities and student-led exhibits, including posters, interactive displays, and projects prepared by students of the department. Social and recreational activities were also organized, creating a welcoming atmosphere that fostered communication and strengthened relationships between faculty members and students.<\/p>\n<p>The festival aimed to raise awareness of the importance of energy and its role in achieving sustainable development. It also highlighted the need to rationalize energy consumption, expand the use of renewable energy sources, and adopt environmentally friendly technologies, in line with contemporary challenges in the energy sector and the requirements of the transition towards a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n<p>This event reflects the Department of Energy Engineering\u2019s commitment to supporting meaningful student activities that promote initiative and teamwork and connect engineering knowledge with critical issues facing society.
