The College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad organized a training course entitled \u201cAdvanced Microsoft Word Training Course to Enhance the Efficiency of Laboratory Staff\u201d<\/strong> as part of the Quality Assurance, Academic Accreditation, Laboratory Safety, and Security activities for the academic year 2026\u20132027, organized by the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering.<\/p>\n

The course was held under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul Majeed<\/strong>, and under the supervision of the Head of the Department of Electronic and Communications Engineering, Assist. Prof. Dr. Aqeel Abdul Aziz Mohammed<\/strong>. It was delivered by Assist. Lecturer Suha Abdul Rahim Khoja<\/strong> on Sunday, October 18, 2026, in the department\u2019s Computer Laboratory, with the participation of several faculty members and staff working in the department\u2019s laboratories.<\/p>\n

The course covered the following training modules:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Merging Multiple Documents into a Single File.<\/li>\n
  2. Addressing Formatting Issues Resulting from Document Merging and Resolving Style Conflicts.<\/li>\n
  3. Professionally Organizing Page Numbering in Merged Documents.<\/li>\n
  4. Converting Text into Tables.<\/li>\n
  5. Creating Indexes and Automatic Tables of Contents.<\/li>\n
  6. Automating Captions and Cross-References for Figures and Tables.<\/li>\n
  7. Using Review and Collaboration Tools, Including Track Changes and Comments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    At the conclusion of the course, participants raised additional questions related to the training modules.
