Obtaining a master\u2019s degree by Esraa Abdul-Jabbar Shakir, a master\u2019s student in the Department of Water Resources Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, was more than just an academic achievement. It was the culmination of a scientific journey during which she faced difficult health circumstances, yet continued her academic path with determination and perseverance despite the challenges, ultimately achieving her goal and concluding years of study with success.<\/p>\n

Researcher Esraa crowned her academic journey with her master\u2019s thesis entitled \u201cThe Effect of Water Level Fluctuations on Seepage and Slope Stability in Al-Wand Earth Dam.\u201d<\/strong> The study examined the impact of changes in water levels on seepage and the stability of the earth dam. She was awarded a master\u2019s degree with a Very Good (High)<\/strong> grade, an achievement that reflects the effort and perseverance she demonstrated throughout her academic journey.<\/p>\n

In recognition of this achievement and the patience and determination demonstrated by the researcher in overcoming challenges, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed<\/strong>, received Esraa Abdul-Jabbar in the presence of the Head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, Asst. Prof. Dr. Ameen Mohammed Saleh<\/strong>, and her academic supervisor, Prof. Dr. Riyadh Zuhair Al-Zubaidi<\/strong>. They congratulated her on this scientific achievement and praised her determination and commitment to completing her postgraduate studies despite the circumstances that accompanied her academic journey. They emphasized that her achievement represents the outcome of determination, continuous effort, and the ability to overcome challenges.<\/p>\n

The Dean praised the researcher\u2019s achievement, emphasizing that scientific accomplishment is not measured solely by the final result, but also by the effort, perseverance, and ability to continue despite difficulties. He noted that Esraa\u2019s experience represents an inspiring example for students and researchers who remain committed to their academic ambitions and overcome challenges in pursuit of their goals.<\/p>\n

For his part, the Head of the Department of Water Resources Engineering, along with the academic supervisor, commended the researcher\u2019s efforts throughout her academic journey and her commitment to fulfilling the requirements of her research and studies. They emphasized that obtaining her master\u2019s degree represents the outcome of her hard work and determination to continue her academic path to completion.<\/p>\n

Esraa Abdul-Jabbar\u2019s experience demonstrates that determination and hard work can transform challenges into motivation for perseverance and achievement, and that difficult circumstances can become part of a success story that gives an accomplishment even greater meaning and value.<\/p>\n

This experience also reflects the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad\u2019s commitment to recognizing its students and celebrating their scientific achievements, as well as its interest in highlighting stories that embody perseverance and ambition. Such stories encourage students and researchers to continue their academic journeys and not allow challenges to stand in the way of their goals.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Deanship of the College of Engineering, represented by its Dean, Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hamid Abdul-Majeed<\/strong>, congratulates researcher Esraa Abdul-Jabbar Shakir<\/strong> on this scientific achievement, commending her determination, commitment, and perseverance in completing her academic journey.
