The workshop brought together a distinguished group of specialists and experts in the field of smart cities from Iraqi universities, ministries, and institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The College was represented by faculty members from the Department of Architecture, including <strong>Assist. Prof. Dr. Sajida Kadhim Al-Kindi<\/strong> and <strong>Lecturer Dr. Inas Hassan Al-Bakri<\/strong>, alongside a number of specialists and experts from academic and governmental institutions.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop discussed the feasibility of implementing the <strong>\u201cBaghdad Smart City\u201d project<\/strong> and benefiting from international experiences in the field of smart cities. It also addressed the main themes to be covered in upcoming workshops, including smart services, water, electricity, and sewage networks, waste management, and smart transportation systems.<\/p>\n<p>The participants also discussed proposals for selecting specific areas of Baghdad to be developed in accordance with smart-city concepts and evaluating the experience as a preliminary step toward potentially applying it in other areas of the capital.
