As part of a series of academic activities, the Department of Architecture at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad<\/span><\/span>, organized a scientific exhibition for third-year students. The exhibition featured three-dimensional models simulating precise structural details of steel structures, under the supervision of a group of faculty members.<\/p>\n

The exhibition aimed to strengthen the integration between theoretical knowledge and practical application by highlighting structural solutions and advanced techniques that contribute to improving the structural performance of buildings.<\/p>\n

The students\u2019 work reflected a solid scientific understanding of structural material behavior. The models demonstrated various connection mechanisms between steel elements and their impact on the stability of structural systems, in addition to emphasizing the aesthetic dimension of structural details as part of contemporary architectural language.<\/p>\n

The exhibition was also distinguished by the diversity of technical approaches presented, which provided greater flexibility in architectural form-making in line with modern design requirements. This activity served as a practical opportunity to explore the technical potential of steel structures within a design context, while also developing students\u2019 critical and analytical skills and enhancing their ability to link theoretical concepts with practical applications in both design and construction.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
