The Human Rights Unit, in cooperation with the Department of Electronics and Communications Engineering and the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Engineering \u2013 University of Baghdad, organized a workshop titled \u201cWe Live with Dignity\u201d on Wednesday, April 8, 2026. The session was delivered by Assistant Lecturer Farah Wathiq Salem.<\/p>\n

The workshop aimed to promote human and ethical values among students and to reinforce the concept of dignity as a fundamental right for every individual in society. It also sought to raise awareness about the importance of self-respect and respect for others, while discouraging negative behaviors, particularly bullying and verbal or emotional abuse, in order to foster a university environment based on mutual respect and positive coexistence.<\/p>\n

The workshop included a range of interactive activities and open discussions that emphasized the importance of encouraging positive behaviors within the academic environment and increasing awareness of human rights. These efforts contribute to building a conscious and responsible generation capable of addressing social and behavioral challenges.<\/p>\n

The workshop concluded with several recommendations, including the continuation of awareness programs, strengthening the role of Human Rights Units in promoting a culture of respect, and integrating human rights concepts into university activities to support a safe and balanced educational environment.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row]<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
