The seminar, entitled <strong>\u201cSocial Media Networks and Their Psychological and Social Impact on Youth,\u201d<\/strong> was held on <strong>February 25, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar featured the participation of <strong>Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ilham Ali Baiyawi<\/strong>, Director of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the college, and <strong>Dr. Abeer Asaad Dawood<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The seminar aimed to raise awareness among university students about the psychological and social impacts of social media networks. It highlighted their positive aspects in learning and skill development, while also warning about the risks associated with misuse and providing practical guidance for the conscious and responsible use of these platforms.<\/p>\n<p>At the conclusion of the seminar, the speakers emphasized the importance of allocating appropriate time for using social media to avoid excessive use and over-engagement.
