{"id":10706,"date":"2026-03-08T09:11:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-08T06:11:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10706"},"modified":"2026-03-08T09:11:27","modified_gmt":"2026-03-08T06:11:27","slug":"college-of-engineering-at-the-university-of-baghdad-organizes-a-workshop-on-mental-health-and-stress-prevention","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10706","title":{"rendered":"College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad Organizes a Workshop on Mental Health and Stress Prevention"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Engineering, <strong>Prof. Dr. Ghassan Hameed Abdul-Majeed<\/strong>, the Department of Architecture at the University of Baghdad organized a workshop on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, in cooperation with the <strong>Psychological Counseling and Educational Guidance Unit<\/strong> and the <strong>Continuing Education Unit<\/strong>, entitled <strong>\u201cPromoting Awareness of Mental Health and Methods of Stress Prevention.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The workshop was delivered by <strong>Asst. Lect. Rasha Abdullah Saadoun Al-Zalzali<\/strong>, and was attended by a number of students and faculty members.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to introduce students to the concept of mental health and its importance in university life. It also explained the nature of psychological stress and its sources, as well as identifying early indicators of stress and burnout.
