{"id":10606,"date":"2026-03-01T11:04:39","date_gmt":"2026-03-01T08:04:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10606"},"modified":"2026-03-01T11:04:39","modified_gmt":"2026-03-01T08:04:39","slug":"awareness-campaign-at-the-college-of-engineering-university-of-baghdad-promotes-a-culture-of-conservation-and-sustainability","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10606","title":{"rendered":"Awareness Campaign at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad Promotes a Culture of Conservation and Sustainability"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<em>Sustainable Development \u2013 Responsible Consumption and Production<\/em><\/p>\n<p>The Women\u2019s Affairs Unit at the College of Engineering at University of Baghdad organized an awareness campaign on Sunday, February 22, 2026, entitled <em>\u201cRationalizing and Sustaining Water and Energy Resources and Protecting the Environment.\u201d<\/em> The campaign was held in line with the National Strategic Plan for Women\u2019s Affairs adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign was supervised by the Head of the Women\u2019s Affairs Unit, Assistant Professor Dr. Ilham Ali Bayouwi, and was conducted with the participation of liaison members from the engineering departments, in addition to the Media and Scientific Affairs Division of the College.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative included the design and presentation of awareness posters addressing topics such as renewable energy, water and energy conservation, and the importance of environmental protection.
