{"id":10514,"date":"2026-02-18T12:04:54","date_gmt":"2026-02-18T09:04:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10514"},"modified":"2026-02-18T12:04:54","modified_gmt":"2026-02-18T09:04:54","slug":"as-part-of-global-entrepreneurship-week-department-of-electrical-engineering-organizes-a-specialized-workshop-on-simulating-electrical-systems-using-matlab-simulink","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.coeng.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=10514","title":{"rendered":"As Part of Global Entrepreneurship Week: Department of Electrical Engineering Organizes a Specialized Workshop on Simulating Electrical Systems Using MATLAB\/Simulink"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>As part of the activities of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2026, and in line with its efforts to enhance the practical skills of its students and graduates, the Department of Electrical Engineering at the College of Engineering \u2013 University of Baghdad organized a specialized workshop on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in cooperation with the Continuing Education and Rehabilitation &amp; Employment Units.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop, entitled <em>\u201cSimulation of Power Systems and Electrical Machines Using MATLAB\/Simulink,\u201d<\/em> was delivered by Dr. Rana Ali Abtan and Lecturer Anmar Khawam, in the presence of department students and a number of interested engineers.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop aimed to enable participants to effectively utilize modern computer-based simulation tools.
