Petroleum Engineering Department – A fourth-year student in the Department of Petroleum Engineering at the College of Engineering, University of Baghdad, Mohaymen Majid Hashim, achieved a remarkable accomplishment by earning an advanced ranking in the Reading Award organized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in its third edition for the year 2025.
More than 27,000 students from various Iraqi universities participated in the competition. With his broad knowledge and strong analytical abilities, Mohaymen succeeded in securing 18th place among the top forty students nationwide.
This achievement represents an honorable addition to the Petroleum Engineering Department and the University of Baghdad, reflecting the high caliber demonstrated by the university’s students in the fields of knowledge and reading.
